Anna Dickerson’s paintings are drawn from garden birds visiting her bird table. Surprising colours - bold pinks, yellows, vibrant blues and oranges - are overlaid by greys, whites, blacks and gold to give a prevalence of calm. These paintings are made of many fine layers of acrylic paint achieving a jewel like quality.
Anna trained at Glasgow School of Art and Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited widely and worked as Artist in Residence at London Zoo, including drawing on film for the Tate Gallery. Anna has work in the United Nations collection in Rome, and private collections worldwide. Over the past two years Anna has exhibited at the Barbican library, All Hallows Church at Tower Bridge and in Dulwich Village, London. Anna lives and works in Kent.
