Anne is an award-winning jeweller who has been making jewellery for
over 20 years. She enjoys silver’s potential for texture and her ranges explore the relationship between the look and feel of the materials she uses. Anne’s specialism is a technique called reticulation and her creations proudly show off their origins through workshop experimentation. Combined with semi-precious stones, these reticulated silver surfaces are particularly unique; each marks the precise moment she withdraws the flame from part-liquefied silver.
Anne’s ‘Erosion’ collection uses her signature reticulated surfaces to emulate the natural erosion of the coastline. The pieces are then hand-drilled, further eroding the silver, and paired with faceted semi-precious stones such as rubies and chalcedony or with more organic stones such as lava and druzy to create her one-off statement necklaces.
Anne continues to develop new designs using her trademark reticulation
technique as her starting point, experimenting with different materials to create wearable contemporary jewellery.
