Laura studied for a BA Hons and an MA in ceramics at Wolverhampton University.
Following this she worked for potters Peter Beard and Penny Simpson before moving to Cornwall to complete an Adopt a Potter funded apprenticeship at the Leach Pottery. Laura became a member of the production team for a further year. In 2016 she left Cornwall for Kent and set up her own pottery studio where she teaches lessons and makes a range of table ware and individual carved pieces.
Drawing inspiration from geometric designs and natural forms, elegant pots are hand carved with intricate tessellating patterns. Using layers of different glaze distinctive rich colours are achieved, creating unique pots full of depth.
