Kate PenoyreKate's work explores the drama and mood of changing seasons, light and weather on places that are meaningful to her. The paintings and prints that result from working out of doors and later on in the studio are very personal, often colourful interpretations of what she sees.
Kate feels deeply rooted in the English romantic tradition of landscape at the same time as being inspired by abstract colourists such as Rothko, Hodgkin and Matisse. |
