On the eastern edge of Sussex, surrounded by beautiful countryside, Artichoke Gallery was in the heart of this wealden village with an eclectic selection of small creative businesses. In addition to featuring the work of artist/owners Vicki Atkinson, Liz Moys and Louisa Crispin, each year there were four themed exhibitions of painting, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery representing some of the leading artists and makers in the country.
The Gallery had a spacious, relaxed atmosphere to show off the contemporary delights on offer, ideal for sourcing that extra special present from highly skilled artisans.

After 5 amazing years we decided to close the doors on Artichoke Gallery in Ticehurst in September 2019. We so enjoyed being part of the village, everyone made us feel welcome and it was a really tough decision. However we are keen to continue to develop our own artist careers and excited for the future. Click on the images above to connect with our personal businesses.

We're very sorry.
With on street parking, a narrow pathway and an old building, access to the Gallery for people with limited mobility leaves a lot to be desired. Please rest assured we will do our very best to accomodate you with temporary ramps and/or bringing works to the entrance for you to enjoy. |
