Annabet WyndhamIn 2003 Annabet completed a residency in Australia which gave her invaluable time to experience and enjoy new ideas and techniques. On returning to her workshop she added torch fired enamelling to her palette. Her jewellery has taken centre stage over the last few years. Her most recent pieces are inspired by still life paintings and the bringing together of objects.
She is enjoying new materials, wood and paint, and contrasting them with her trusted roll patterned silver and vitreous enamel. The new work groups individual textured shapes that suggest known functional objects, they overlap and either jostle with their neighbours, or come together, still, ordered, arranged. |
